Solar Picnic

I played last Saturday at Catalina Park at the Solar Picnic. They had lectures on solar power and sustainable living. Many people cooked with solar powered ovens. At the last minute (the night before) I asked my daughter, Ada, if she wanted to sing with me. We rehearsed a little bit in the bathroom (good acoustics) and had a blast. I regretted not having practiced a whole set with her and her Ukelele. We played a few together and I played by my self a few. I plan to play the new farmers market at The Loft. They have the best raw honey, as well as many other amazing foods and products. Ada and I are hoping...

Profile of an Artist

Reading about Demi Lovato in the NYTimes today, I felt a lot of respect for her courage as an artist and a person. My experience with artists overall is that this culture is not always sensitive to their needs. Sometimes our world can be downright treacherous for the artist. Demi is a caring host on X-Factor. My daughter, Ada, covered one of Demi's songs on YouTube.
